Short Statement:

MSG Edford Luckey spent a large portion of his career as a Junior ROTC instructor developing cadets into young professionals, capable of presenting the colors in any scenario. His teams were consistently sought after for professional sporting events, naturalization ceremonies, and other high-visibility functions. Furthermore, MSG Luckey is perhaps the most dominant color guard coach in the history of competitive drill with a staggering number of national championship accolades and thousands of life-changing experiences for his cadets. MSG Luckey, have a unique and energetic coaching style, the thought-process behind selecting a color guard team for its appearance, chemistry, and continuity! 

When you start asking him about his personal honors, he does not say much. He said he was taught at an early age by his Drill Sergeant “when you’re good, you don’t have to tell anyone. When they see you or hear you they will talk about you.” 

Teaching/Coaching Style:

MSG Edford Luckey, use 3 phases of instructions the crawl, walk, and run phase. I teach individuals, small groups, and teams’ precision color guard drill in accordance with Army Training Circular 3-21.5 and how to break a drill area down into small squares.
